Lydia Mar Manila Inc (LMM)

Lydia Mar Manila Inc (LMM) is a joint venture founded by its Filipino owners and Lydia Mar Shipping Co. S.A., a ship management company located in Greece. Lydia Mar Shipping Co. S.A. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Aug. Bolten Wm. Miller’s Nachfolger, a seventh-generation family-owned shipping company with a history of over 200 years. LMM was established to respond to the increasing demand for qualified seafarers for the shipping industry. Lydia Mar Manila started as a single proprietorship in 1990 but transformed into a corporation in 1995. The company exclusively serviced the ships of Aug. Bolten and Lydia Mar in Athens, but it quickly expanded to offer services to third party clients. Prior to its incorporation in the 90’s, LMM was already a member of an existing Philippine crewing agency in 1968. Overall, the company has been active in the maritime and crewing industry for over 50 years.
