In 2021, the global fishing industry faced a serious challenge with unethical labor practices in Taiwan impacting the world market. To address this crisis, INFISA, in collaboration with Key Traceability Co., Ltd., and with funding from FCF Co., Ltd., established the Responsible Recruitment Project. The program proved successful in building a fair and transparent pathway for Indonesian fishermen. Its success has attracted the trust of vessel owners worldwide, who now view INFISA as a key partner for providing professional crews. Driven by strong demand, the program has evolved into a self-sustaining entity dedicated to advancing a humane and sustainable fishing industry
